3D wire benders controlled in 6 or 9 axes

 

3D-OR benders are modern CNC machines dedicated to three of the wire from coils or straight sections. The advantage of the structural solutions applied in the machine series is exact control of the workpiece bent. It is possible due to the fact that the bender is equipped in a manipulator which supports the wire during the whole forming process. 3D-OR benders have six or nine numerically controlled axes and their number is dependent from the machine configuration. 6-axes version is intended for bending wire from straight sections while the 9-axes version allows forming the wire from coils. Regardless of configuration and number of axes, wire bending takes place from the straight section cut to the size. Due to it, precise material positioning with regard to the bending header is possible as well as wire bending from both sides. 

 

3D-OR series benders are available in four configurations:

  • 3D-OR70S within the diameter range of Ø2.0-7.0mm, 6-axes machine for bending wire in straight sections,
  • 3D-OR70C within the diameter range of Ø2.0-7.0mm, 9-axes machine for bending wire from coils,
  • 3D-OR100S within the diameter range of Ø2.0-10.0mm, 6-axes machine for bending wire in straight sections,
  • 3D-OR100C within the diameter range of Ø2.0-10.0mm, 9-axes machine for bending wire from coils.

  • bending wire from coils or straight sections,
  • unique structure which allows for exact control of the workpiece formed,
  • impulse generator for manual inspection of each and every axis,
  • system stabilizing wire in the form of bearing mounted rollers located before the bending header,
  • positioning of the manipulator for the purposes of putting the workpiece away to the box or on the belt conveyor,
  • optional equipment involving another header, belt conveyor and chamfering module.
