One-head benders of 3D-R series are modern CNC machines intended for three dimensional bending of the wire from coils. The structural solutions applied as well as high class subassemblies make the machines dedicated to high efficiency and repeatable wire processing. The main working motions which condition the operation speed and accuracy, are realized with the use of servomechanisms. Benders have three numerically controlled axes: stroke, rotation and bending. The machines are offered as complete units composed of: a motorized wire unwinder, a two-plane straightening module, a feeder and a bending header with scissors installed on the arm. Apart from the unwinder, other modules are integrated and placed in the machine bed made of bent and welded steel plates.
As far as structure and intended use are concerned, it is assumed that benders operate in an automatic cycle: through the straightening device, the feeder module supplies the wire to the bender module, the bending header bends the wire in accordance with the shape programmed and then cuts off the workpiece with the use of integrated scissors. 3D-R series benders are machines without any hydraulic elements due to which the excessive noise is eliminated and production cleanness while usage is assured.
